Mr Burge does not claim any greater skill than any other surgeon – reputable doctors don’t. |
Mr Burge’s training, experience and qualifications are clearly laid out on the ‘ About Tim Burge’ page. |
Mr Burge is a sole practitioner with no contractual ties to any clinic or particular hospital. Mr Burge can therefore provide a personalised service, tailored to the individual patient. |
Mr Burge sees all his patients himself, operates on them himself and follows them up himself. At many clinics initial consultations are with a nurse or sales person. |
Further preoperative calls and consultations are always available and are always free. |
Mr Burge will normally insist on a two week gap between consultation and surgery. This complies with Government guidelines and allows time for those inevitable questions and doubts to be addressed. |
Mr Burge would much rather not operate on someone than end up with a dissatisfied patient – whatever the fee! |
Mr Burge usually operates at the Nuffield Hospital in Clifton, Bristol. Many ‘clinics’ consult in Bristol but operate in London, Manchester or Birmingham. |
Mr Burge only uses highly qualified Consultant Anaesthetists. |
There is no limit on the number of postoperative visits – Mr Burge will see you again for as long as you want.
Mr Burge is happy to review patients, even years later. |
There is no charge for these postoperative visits and if revision surgery is required any further costs can be minimized. |
