Mr Burge is a sole practitioner with no ties to any clinic or particular hospital. Mr Burge can therefore provide a personalised service, tailored to the individual patient.

Mr Burge sees all his patients himself, operates on them himself and follows them up himself. At many clinics initial consultations are with a nurse or sales person.

Mr Burge will normally insist on a two week gap between consultation and surgery. This complies with Government guidelines and allows time for those inevitable questions and doubts to be addressed. Further preoperative calls and consultations are always available and are always free. In many clinics the first time that the patient and surgeon meet is minutes before surgery.

Mr Burge would much rather not operate on someone than end up with a dissatisfied patient – whatever the fee!

Mr Burge usually operates at the Chesterfield Hospital in Clifton, Bristol. Many ‘clinics’ consult in Bristol but operate in London, Manchester or Birmingham.

Mr Burge lives within walking distance of the Chesterfield hospital, in the unlikely event of problems.

Mr Burge only uses highly qualified Consultant Anaesthetists.
